I am an independent beauty educator, currently working on a new curriculum (that I plan to begin teaching in early 2017).  This morning I woke up thinking about purpose, the beauty industry and the events that have shaped my passions.  Yes, we are hairstylists and makeup artists, but we have also been given a responsibility to touch people’s lives. Freedom!!! It gives us the freedom to choose when we want to be behind the chair. I love working behind the chair and wouldn’t want to give it up completely but I also love spending my time with fellow stylists, especially in other parts of the country! It’s been so fun meeting all of you and trying to un-complicate the most complicated technique that we are navigating today!
